Mittry Lake

A great fishing lake. Very calm and relaxing paddle. 20-25 minutes from town. 

Xanyō Xamshré Lake / Squaw Lake

Another great location! About 45 minutes away from town in Winterhaven/Imperial County. Smaller lake but still very calm. A small beach area and a little island in the middle; fun to explore.

Senator Wash Dam

Opposite side of the dam from Squaw Lake. More beach area to use, very popular place to jet ski and BBQ. Water level varies frequently; can be completely drained at times. 

Centennial Beach / West Wetlands Park

Located within West Wetlands Park at the boat ramp, this is the location where the workout class begins and ends. The last functional pickup point before the Lower Colorado diverts to California & Algodones, Mexico.

Gateway Park

Another great location! About 45 minutes away from town in Winterhaven/Imperial County. Smaller lake but still very calm. A small beach area and a little island in the middle; fun to explore.

Martinez Lake

A large lake about an hour Northeast of Yuma. Great for fishing and kayaking/boarding. Popular with boats as it has direct Upper Colorado River access. Use caution so as not to get pulled out to the river by the current.

Fortuna Lake / Fortuna Pond

Aside from Mittry Lake, probably the most popular fishing lake/pond. Located in the Foothills near Redondo Pond, great for bass fishing.
